PS2, Xbox, PCJust when you thought it was safe to play games based on ageing movie licenses, along comes Jaws Unleashed. It’s a game that should’ve made some sort of a splash with its undeniably cool premise. Instead it sinks to the bottom of the ocean as soon as you press the start button. You play as the titular man-eating shark from the movies. Instead of an agile great white shark that you’ve come to imagine, controlling Jaws is a very aggravating experience. To add to your woes, the camera is even wilder than the thrashing shark since most of the time it’s all over the place. A small relief is the semi-open ended mission structure which lets you pick your missions and roam various underwater locales.
