Subaru Impreza

As other car junkies would willingly attest to, there was really nothing wrong with the old Subaru Impreza.
The classic four-door sedan Impreza already had the 2.0-liter boxer engine that Subaru proudly owns up as theirs. What’s so uniquely great about Subaru’s boxer engine—as explained by their in-house car geeks—is that body roll is minimized because the boxer’s engine pattern in-line with transmission has a lower center of gravity compared to other engines in other vehicles. Add to that the lightweight layout of Subaru, which makes the Impreza capable of Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive—another Subaru first which also coincidentally was one of the main ingredients to how the Impreza earned Subaru a good reputation in the World Rally Championships. - B.A. Borleo
